Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 14, 2026. Welcome to Refini. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By registering, purchasing credits, subscribing to a plan, or accessing these services, you agree to enter into a legally binding contract with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Users may terminate at any time by closing their account.
Introduction
Refini provides application and website services, including mobile applications distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and related web content. Refini is a digital software-as-a-service product. Service access is delivered online after account creation or payment confirmation. Eligibility Requirements
Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher. Users under 18 may not create accounts, use paid services, or make purchases. Parents and legal guardians should review parental control features provided by app stores.
Services Offered
This platform allows eligible users to create, upload, and/or share certain image-only content, including images, photos, prompts, scripts, and text. Supported uploads and generated outputs are image files only. Face-swapping features and all paid services require users to be at least 18 years old.
Service Description
Refini uses artificial intelligence to edit, modify, transform, and generate images and photos. Services include image upload and image editing capabilities only. Refini may use trusted service providers such as OpenAI, Replicate, and Cloudflare R2 to process, moderate, store, and deliver the image-only service. The service depends on third-party AI model providers, and performance or availability may be affected by those providers. The platform explicitly states: Refini's technology is not used to identify or verify individuals in images. AI-generated or AI-edited outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for professional advice. Users acknowledge they use the service for personal, non-competitive purposes and represent that they are not attorneys investigating potential claims.
Terms Modifications
Refini may modify the agreement from time to time and notify through login, email, in-app notice, or other reasonable means. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect where reasonably required. Users must accept new terms to continue using the service. Continued use of our services after the effective date means you agree to the new terms. The company reserves the right to provide updates, and all such updates shall be incorporated into and governed by this agreement. Users must use the latest version available.
Payments and Credits
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to make purchases within the service. By completing a purchase, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Purchase Options
Subscriptions and Credits
Certain subscription plans provide you with a fixed amount of credits ("Credits") during each subscription period. Current plan details, included credits, and pricing are shown on the pricing and checkout pages before purchase.
- Credits are only valid during the subscription period in which they were granted. Unused credits automatically expire at the end of the subscription period and do not carry over to subsequent periods.
- Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed or exchanged for money or other consideration.
One-Time Purchases
We may offer one-time purchases of specific features, content, or credit packs. Each one-time purchase is authorized at checkout for the displayed amount and provides immediate access to purchased features or credits upon payment, subject to this agreement.
Credits Purchase and Accumulation
Users may purchase credits through one-time purchases at any time without limitation. Purchased credits can be accumulated in your account and do not expire unless otherwise specified. This allows you to build up credits for future use across multiple purchases.
There is no limit to the number of times you may purchase credits or the total amount of credits you may accumulate in your account.
Service Cost Adjustments and Credits Exchange Rate
While we strive to maintain stable pricing and credit exchange rates, Refini reserves the right to adjust the exchange rate between credits and services (e.g., the number of credits required per photo enhancement) in response to significant and sustained changes in market conditions, including but not limited to:
- Substantial increases in AI computation costs, infrastructure costs, or third-party API costs that materially affect our ability to provide services at current rates.
Any such adjustments will be communicated to users with at least 30 days advance notice via email and in-app notifications. Adjustments will only apply to future credit usage; credits you have already purchased will retain their value for the adjustment period.
We will not retroactively change the terms of credits that have already been purchased and used. This provision is designed to ensure service sustainability while protecting user interests in extreme circumstances.
Auto-Renewal Subscriptions
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually) unless canceled before renewal. By purchasing a subscription and providing a payment method, you expressly authorize recurring charges for each renewal period until you cancel. Annual subscription renewal reminders will be sent before renewal where required or reasonably practicable.
Account Attribution
Purchases are attributed to the account you were logged into at the time of purchase and can be accessed when you log into that account on the app or website.
Payment Methods
Web Purchases
Payments made on the website are processed through Waffo Pancake or other authorized payment providers when available. By completing checkout, you authorize the applicable charge for one-time purchases or recurring subscription charges. Payment card data is handled exclusively by the PCI-DSS compliant payment processor and is not stored on our servers. Please ensure the billing email on your account remains valid.

If you cannot resolve the issue through self-service, you may contact [email protected] for assistance. Refund requests should include your account email, order ID or payment receipt, and a short explanation.
Payment Support and Billing Disputes
If you encounter issues with a purchase or believe a charge is incorrect, please contact [email protected] before initiating a bank or card network dispute. We aim to respond to billing disputes within 3 business days and will take reasonable action according to our refund policy to determine whether to provide a replacement, repair, refund, credit adjustment, or other appropriate resolution.
User Support
Refini reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or modify technical support (if any) at any time.
Messages and Communications
Users agree to receive service messages through the service, including account, billing, security, policy update, and support communications. Marketing communications, where used, may be sent only where permitted and can be opted out of through the provided unsubscribe method or by contacting [email protected]. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential service, billing, or security notices.
Automated Processing
This platform provides recommendations through automated processes based on user data and information from other users.
Service Availability and Termination
Refini may change, suspend, or terminate your use of the service for material breach, suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or operational necessity. If Refini terminates a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we may provide a prorated refund or service credit for unused prepaid access where required by law or our refund policy. After termination, representations and warranties remain in effect. A free account inactive for 24 consecutive months may be automatically closed without separate notice only if it has no active subscription, remaining purchased credits, pending transaction, refund, or dispute. Accounts with those items are not closed solely for inactivity. Ordinary account data is handled under the Privacy Policy and is not uniformly retained for 3 years; only the minimum transaction, security, dispute, tax, accounting, or legally required records may be retained for the applicable period.
Rights and Restrictions on Use
Prohibited Inappropriate Content
Users must not upload the following content: impersonating others or creating false identities; illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or violent content; infringement of intellectual property rights; content that cannot be legally disclosed; malware designed to disrupt the service; spam or unsolicited bulk email; automated collection without consent; promoting pyramid schemes or contests; supporting designated terrorist organizations; including others' personal information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, license numbers; violating laws or regulations. Users must not use Refini to request, create, generate, edit, upload, or distribute NSFW content, sexually explicit content, pornographic content, nude or sexualized imagery, or sexually suggestive content. This prohibition applies to prompts, uploaded reference images, generated outputs, and any attempt to bypass safety systems. Violations of these provisions may result in immediate and permanent bans. The company removes infringing materials and may disable accounts of repeat copyright infringers.
Refini's Limited License
Users are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable limited license to download, access, and use the service... for your non-commercial, personal use. Users may not copy, rent, lease, sell, distribute, or sublicense the service. Users must remove the application from devices before transferring them to others.
User Conduct Restrictions
Users must not systematically retrieve data, use scraping techniques, use automated monitoring tools, or frame Refini's trademarks without permission. Users must not bypass security measures, impose unreasonable loads on infrastructure, provide false information to disrupt the service, or reverse engineer software. Users must comply with all rules posted within the service.
Intellectual Property
Refini owns all intellectual property in the service. Users do not acquire ownership through use. All materials forming part of the service are owned, controlled, or licensed by Refini. Unless expressly permitted, users may not copy, distribute, publish, or exploit rights in the service.
User-Generated Content
Licensing and Representations
Users grant Refini a time-limited, revocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, process, and display uploaded content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the platform and provide requested AI image services. This license automatically terminates when you delete user-generated content, except where retention is needed for security, backups, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or already-completed processing. Refini will not use your uploaded images to train AI models without your explicit consent. Users represent that uploaded content does not constitute inappropriate content as defined in the agreement. If we find your user-generated content violates these terms, we may terminate your access.
Content Loss
The company is not liable for content loss beyond its control (such as security breaches) but commits to notifying users of incidents according to the privacy policy.
Feedback License
By submitting feedback, users grant a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sublicensable, and transferable license for Refini to use it in any manner without compensation.
Disclaimers
Refini does not assume and expressly disclaims any liability arising from or related to any information you voluntarily submit through the website in areas where others can view, copy, and use it.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Users claiming copyright infringement should contact the designated agent at [email protected] with relevant details. The company follows applicable legal procedures to resolve claims between parties.
Assignment of Rights
Refini may freely assign rights and obligations under this agreement. Users may not assign rights without written consent.
Warranties Disclaimer
The service is provided as is, as available. The company disclaims all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, title, quality, AI output accuracy, and performance. The company does not warrant that your use of the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Do not rely on AI-generated or AI-edited content as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
Refini is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, use, or data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refini's total liability is capped at the amount you paid to Refini in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations.
Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Refini parties for any and all claims, damages, costs, attorney fees, expenses, and settlements arising from user conduct or violations.
Choice of Law and Dispute Resolution
Disputes are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before initiating a formal proceeding, users agree to contact [email protected] and attempt informal resolution. We aim to respond to billing or legal dispute notices within 3 business days. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, claims must be brought within two years; failure to do so renders them invalid. Users waive the right to participate in class actions to the extent permitted by law.
Force Majeure
The company is not liable for failures caused by fire, flood, natural disasters, epidemics, acts of God, strikes... war, terrorism... third-party software failures, or similar uncontrollable events.
Severability and Waiver
Invalid provisions are severable; remaining provisions remain valid. Failure to enforce provisions does not constitute waiver of these rights. Section headings are for reference only. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the complete agreement between you and Refini.
